Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any ACME — Autonomous Cognitive Mind Engine ("ACME") service, platform, API, or agent deployment, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using ACME on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Services

ACME provides a cognitive intelligence infrastructure including, but not limited to:

  • Autonomous agent deployment and orchestration
  • Causal reasoning and knowledge synthesis APIs
  • Multi-agent coordination frameworks
  • Alignment monitoring and safety systems
  • Research publications and technical documentation

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ACME services to:

  • Generate, distribute, or facilitate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content
  • Circumvent or attempt to bypass ACME's alignment and safety systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract ACME's proprietary model weights
  • Use ACME agents for autonomous actions on critical infrastructure without proper authorization
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

4. API Usage & Rate Limits

ACME API access is subject to rate limits specified in your service tier agreement. Attempting to circumvent rate limits, abuse authentication systems, or exceed allocated compute quotas may result in immediate service suspension. ACME reserves the right to modify rate limits with 7 days notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All ACME models, architectures, system designs, and research outputs are proprietary intellectual property of ACME unless explicitly licensed otherwise. Content generated through ACME APIs may be used by you subject to the generation license terms of your service agreement. You retain ownership of inputs you submit to ACME systems.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

ACME services are provided "as is." While we maintain a 99.97% uptime SLA for enterprise customers, ACME makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted service availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ACME's liability for any claim arising from use of our services is limited to amounts paid in the preceding 3 months.

7. Modifications

ACME reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent in-service notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of ACME services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
